The Maywood Community Organization (“MCO”) was recently formed, with the goal of engaging citizens of Maywood to bring about positive change. The organization is open to all Maywoodians, and will bring focus on the following key issues:

Economic Development
Crime
Code Enforcement
Taxation
Schools
Housing Issues

Although citizens have historically identified with various parts of the community, MCO is of the firm belief that there is only one Maywood, and that what happens in one part of town affects ALL of Maywood. The founding members of the organization come from many different backgrounds and from all corners of the community.
