This Committee will review Village Ordinances and identify unenforced areas that are contributing to a lower standard of life in the village and lower property values.

In order to make our community safer, this Committee will be responsible for assessing crime statistics in Maywood as well as offering recommendations for better policing tactics.

So that quality businesses and services are brought to and maintained in the Village, this Committee will be responsible for staying abreast of the ever-changing business district ordinances and monitoring the types of proposals offered by the Board and/or Developers.

This Committee will address issues in education such as quality or the lack thereof, return of comprehensive education; parental involvement, fund allocation, etc.

This Committee will address housing issues that impact the overall property values in Maywood, such as over-crowding, deterioration, slumlords, and predatory lending.

This Committee will be responsible for monitoring tax issues affecting our village and helping to ensure that residents are receiving fair and equitable taxation.

This Committee will be responsible for recruiting new members to the general membership of MCO.
